Hi loves, it’s me — Chelsea. 🖤 This deep dive into the dream of making birdie a real, live business is about a year old now. I feel nervous + self conscious about it almost every single day. But I also feel excited + proud of it almost every single day. Despite the unending support + love I’ve found on this venture, I’m still overwhelmed. I still don’t know when I’m making the right choices. It’s become so easy to agonize about tiny details, to feel like a fraud or like I’m going in the wrong direction. So, I took a couple of weeks to step back + reflect. ✨ So far, I’ve arrived at the realization that I’m craving more freedom + creativity. I want to make beautiful things that surprise + inspire you... I want to work with + lift up amazing people...and while that has been happening, I want it all to be somehow bigger, more grand + unique. This whole thing doesn’t feel fully *me* yet, but I’m confident it will if I keep moving forward. ✨ In the past year, I’ve created jewelry that I know you love... and I adore seeing you rock it. I will definitely be holding onto some of the pieces from the original birdie collection, but my gut is telling me to let a lot of them go... to give myself time to create one of a kind pieces... to experiment + play + see where this momentum takes me. So that’s what I’m going to do. Everything that I’ve created over the past year will be available through the holiday season and the end of 2018, but know that I may make some major changes {{{ and all kinds of additions, I hope! }}} to the birdie line up after that. Thank you all for being here, this year has been more than I ever could have hoped for — and it’s all because of you.

Feeling the luckiest to have been able to take a week to steep in sisterly love. 🖤 There’s no one else on this earth who gets me, or grounds me more in the solidity of where I’ve come from, than this amazing woman. I’m moving into this new season with a renewed sense of inspiration and camaraderie as we both continue to embark on new creative ventures, leaning on each other for support through the uncharted waters of living the lives we’ve dreamed of.
